Frequently asked questions

Is Hypersight custodial? Do you hold my funds?

No. Hypersight is a non-custodial front-end for Hyperliquid. Your funds live in your own Hyperliquid account, and only you (or a trading agent you approve) can move them. You can withdraw at any time.

Do I need an account?

No sign-up, no email, no password. Your wallet is your account — connect it and you’re in.

What is a trading agent, and is it safe?

A trading agent is a delegated key that signs your orders so you don’t confirm each one in your wallet. It can trade but not withdraw — it can never move funds out of your account. You can revoke it at any time. See Trading agents.

What do I deposit to start trading?

USDC is the simplest — it’s the collateral for perps, spot, and prediction markets. You can also deposit HYPE. See Deposit funds.

Which chains can I deposit from?

Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, and Solana, via LI.FI routing. See Deposit funds.

Can I buy crypto with a card?

Yes, through Transak. Hypersight never sees your card details. See Buy with a card.

What fees does Hypersight charge?

Hyperliquid’s standard protocol fees (reduced by any VIP/staking/referral discounts) plus a 0.025% Hypersight builder fee on perp and spot trades. Swaps and bridges include a small routing fee. See Fees.

How do prediction markets work?

You buy YES/NO (or UP/DOWN) shares; the winning side redeems for 1 USDC at settlement, the losing side for 0. Share prices read as implied probabilities. See Outcomes.

What’s the difference between Swap and Bridge?

Swap exchanges one token for another on HyperEVM. Bridge moves assets between chains (e.g. Arbitrum → Hyperliquid). See Swap and Bridge.

How do I withdraw?

From your Portfolio’s Withdraw tab. Withdrawals require standard account mode — Hypersight prompts you to switch back if needed. See Bridge.

Can I see other traders’ positions?

Yes — the Whales leaderboard ranks top traders, and every address has a public profile at /u/<address>.

Is there a keyboard shortcut to find things fast?

Yes — ⌘K / Ctrl+K opens the command palette to search markets, traders, addresses, and pages.
